2008
Tues. 21st October - 'Dawdling around Denmark'
An illustrated talk by David Hailes recounting 'Starum's' 750nm round trip cruise from Thuro up the east coast of Jutland, into the Limfjord before crossing the Kattegat to N.Sjaelland, then south down The Sound and back to base via the Smalands route.

Tues. 18th November - 'Rough Pilotage & Rough Water'
An illustrated talk by Ken Endean, a regular contributor to Yachting Monthly who prefers the less crowded anchorages and the challenges they bring.

2009
Tues. 20th January - 'Near & Far - Where did you get to last year?'
Members are invited to bring photographs, slides or CD, charts & logs to share some of the highlights (or even lowlights) of their cruising in 2008.

Tues. 17th February - 'Beating around the Baltic to the CA Centenary Rally'
Douglas Addison describes his cruise from Turku, Finland to the Centenary Rally at Rungsted, Denmark via Latvia, Lithuania, Poland. Sweden & ?

In addition to the above we hope to arrange a joint visit by Wessex & Lyme Bay Section members to the R.N.L.I.College in Poole on a Friday in late January or February 2009. The College allocates visit dates in September for the following year, so we must await their advice on our application. If we are succesful full details will be advised in the autumn.
Then it is more happy sailing time.
