The marina is very busy however the anchorage just outside offers good holding & good protection apart from strong east winds when a large sea can build & make for an uncomfortable stay. The marina staff are all very helpful & friendly nothing appears to be too much trouble. The HLR Anna (co owner) is very helpful. We wanted to stay for the winter & although there is limited space they have been able to get us in. The town is quaint, &  there are regular buses to the next town where you can get trains into Rome with access to the airport, Naples & Pompeii. The local beach is very shelterd & clean sand (blue flag). Excellent restaurents just outside the marina, would recommend the Lampara we have enjoyed an evening meal of 2 pizzas with chips & salad inc wine for about 12euro
