MyCA Forums

MyCA Forums use a sophisticated mix of technologies to allow people to contribute to discussions on a broad range of topics both online and by email. You can subscribe to any of the forums and then you will receive any postings by email and can reply to them or make postings by email.

The main documentation for the forums is provided by the Help & FAQ Forum itself. There is also a Help Forum where you can ask questions.

There are three main forums for all members: Cruising Conversations, Technical & Weather and CA Matters. If you want to raise any topic please choose the appropriate one. An administrator may move a topic if they consider it to be in the wrong place. There is also a forum for the Crewing Service.

There are also two read-only forums which derive from mailing lists for cruising sections: Mednet and Balticnet. The mailing lists are only available to members of those sections though any member can read past postings.

There are also 10 private forums which are used by the various committees of the CA and are only accessible to members of those committees. If you are a member and haven't been given access to the appropriate committee forum, please contact the forum manager.

Finally there is a Suggestions forum. If you have any good ideas, or complaints, about the forums or MyCA in general, this is a good place to air them.
